Last year, Handi-lift Installed two turning inclined platform lifts on the 7th floor of 125 West End Ave in Manhattan. Both lifts are the Garaventa Artira model. All the tubes for both lifts are tower mounted. The lift on the lower-level travels straight up four steps for a total of two stops. It curves slightly at the upper and lower landings with platform storage at the top landing. An atrium leads to the stairs where the upper-level lift is located. The upper-level lift travels up a total of 19 steps with two intermediate landings and makes a total of four stops. This lift also curves slightly at each landing to follow the shape of the staircase. The tubes wrap around 180 degrees at the bottom landing for neat platform storage. Both lifts are grey with a polished stainless-steel finish to match the railings and trim along the staircases.
