Handi-Lift completed another Enclosed Vertical Wheelchair lift. The project includes an outdoor Garaventa Genesis platform lift with two stops and a 180-degree straight-through configuration. This lift uses a hydraulic drive system. The installation has tight clearance on every side. The top landing of the lift is at street level and includes a half-height gate. The lift travels down to the apartment entrance below street level, where it has a full-height door. A staircase is located on one side of the enclosure, with a wall on the mast side. The top of the enclosure extends a few inches above the side of the building, leaving only a few inches between the top of the enclosure and the street-facing wall. The lift is finished in the standard silver moon color.
