Home Elevators

Home elevators are now affordable and allow people with mobility impairments to move freely from floor to floor. The elevators can be customized to meet your personal style and budget. Many builders are already specifying a home elevator in new residential construction because home elevators increase property value and enable retirees to stay in their home rather than having to move.

Home Elevators come in five main styles. To determine which style is right for your application, see Tech Specs

  • Powered Car Gate
  • Emergency Lowering
  • Two and Three Speed Doors
  • Flush Swing Doors
  • ADA Hands Free Phone

Features

Powered Car Gate

This allows the gate to operate without manually opening and closing it. Otherwise, there can be service interruptions if one rider forgets to close the gate fully.

Emergency Lowering

Plan ahead for power outages with emergency lowering, which allows the elevator to be exited in the case of a power failure or other failure in an emergency.

Two and Three Speed Doors

Two or three speed sliding doors provide standard elevator style entrances for the car and hoistway doors.

Flush Swing Doors

Swing doors need to eliminate gaps between the elevator and the hoistway. Therefore, the frame should be set inside flush to the face of the finished hoistway wall.

ADA Hands Free Phone

Voice phone communication is a safety feature required for elevators in the home. ADA phones can replace the standard handheld phone for the convenience of the homeowner.
