This straight inclined platform lift travels over three risers to allow access to the Art Center for any visitors. Although it was originally specified as a stairway chair lift, this XpressII model by Garaventa allows wheelchair users to access this entrance. Handi-Lift assisted the general contractor, Wonder Works Construction Corporation, to select the model for the application. Because the stairs are poured concrete, the XpressII is directly mounted on the wall, rather than supported by towers installed on the stairs. The lift is a standard color and the entry and exit are straight-through. Get in touch to see more photos.
