The Aquablu is a residential building in Jersey City. In order to provide accessibility to the building’s residents, Handi-Lift worked with Bauer-Dermel Architect to install shaftway model vertical platform lift. Our sales team consulted with the architect to provide a low-profile lift to accommodate an unusually shallow pit depth of 1.5 inches. This modification protected the structural integrity of the slab and the rebar within.
This lift has fire rated Federal doors and the platform has a same side orientation, so the user enters and exits the same side.
