Handi-lift recently installed a Shaftway Vertical Platform Lift in Manhattan inside the Graybar entrance of Grand Central Terminal which is owned by SL Green Reality Group. We inserted a Garaventa Genesis Shaftway Model Vertical Platform Lift into an existing shaftway built by others. This platform lift has a 180 degree straight through design. The lift has a hydraulic drive system with 42 inches of vertical travel. We designed custom doors for this shaftway using laminated glass framed with bronze. 

This lift was featured as the project of the month by our manufacturer, Garaventa.
